Set-Up & Delivery is Quick & Efficient! 

  • SITE PREPARATION

Foundation: A bed of limestone screenings or cement chip, etc. is optional but typically desired for stability.

    Your site must be accessible with truck and trailer and be NO MORE THAN 3 FEET OUT OF LEVEL. 

    If the site is not accessible, we offer a build on site" option!

    BUILD ON SITE INFO:

    "Build On Site" is required if you plan to have a cement slab underneath your shed and do not want a wood floor. (There is not a discount for choosing not to have a floor. Sorry!)
    *Build On Site is an extra 15% charge, which is paid to the builder(s) before they start the build.
    *Painting is the responsibility of the customer. The building will be primed for paint ONLY. We highly recommended painting or sealing the building as soon as possible to protect the siding from rain/snow, etc.

    • FREE SETUP!

    Includes leveling up to 3' with customer or driver supplied concrete blocks and driver supplied pressure treated shims. Drivers can supply concrete blocks for $3 each and will install.

    • FIRST 30 MILES FREE!

    Deliveries over 30 miles from your closest Old Hickory Buildings dealership are subject to an additional charge of: $4/mile for 8', 10', & 12' buildings. $5/mile for 14' buildings, & $6/mile for 16' buildings.

    • BUILDINGS ON OUR SALES LOT:

    Can CURRENTLY be delivered within approx. 2-3 weeks. [Weather Permitting]

    • ORDERED TREATED BUILDINGS (T1-11):

    Can CURRENTLY be delivered within approx. 5-7 weeks. [Weather Permitting]

    • ORDERED PAINTED (LP SmartSide or Lap Siding) & METAL BUILDINGS 

    Can CURRENTLY be delivered within approx. 5-7 weeks. [Weather Permitting]

     DELIVERY NOTE: 

    • Poor weather conditions can delay deliveries.
    • The delivery time frame for custom orders during peak season can reach up to 10 weeks or more. Therefore, actual lead times vary.  Pre-ordering or ordering before Spring is best if you want to reduce the delivery time.
    • The above delivery times do not apply to “build on site” buildings. Please contact us for a more accurate delivery date. (920) 528-8631
    • Most municipalities require a building permit for the actual delivery. It is your responsibility to acquire the permit before delivery.  It is also a good idea to call your local city hall to make sure you meet their requirements for placing a shed on your property.
