We are Lochen Equipment!
Lochen Equipment was started in 1899 in the small town of Newburg, WI, by the Lochen brothers. Their mission was to provide high-quality, affordable equipment to help farmers effectively carry out their work.
We carry on that mission today, though with an expanded scope of the job to be done.
Today, our customer base has grown to construction companies, ground keeping crews, municipalities, non-profits, farms large and small, and homeowners. We hold true to our roots in being a source of high quality and capable machinery for personal hobby farms to large scale operations.
This machinery is built by quality manufacturers like Kubota, Gehl, H & S, and Brillion. We supply grounds keepers and homeowners with well-built lawn mowers, snow blowers, and compact tractors made by Ariens, Cub Cadet and Kubota. We supply construction companies with skid steers, track loaders, mini excavators, utility vehicles and tractors made by Gehl and Kubota. We are also an Echo & DeWalt products dealer offering chain saws, string trimmers, leaf blowers and other items to make maintaining your property an easy and enjoyable task.
In August 2023, we expanded our operations by purchasing another dealership, in Waldo, Wisconsin. From there, aside from OPE sales and service, we operate the mowtown.com online store, which ships equipment to customers across the US. The Waldo location is also an Old Hickory Buildings dealer, offering quality built and affordable portable storage buildings.
All of this is done while continuing Lochen's century long legacy of providing exceptional service to customers throughout Wisconsin.
