i had an ariens 24" snow blower that was 35 years old and still working,i decided that was about time to buy a new one.i read a lot of reviews and i hoped the new ariens would be as good as the older models oh my god is this a nice machine when i uncrated it i stood in my driveway and admired it what a nice piece of equipment best money i ever spent'

Assembled, checked oil, put gas in it, and started with one pull. winter and blowing snow is yet to come.

Fell apart
When I received the product it wouldn't move forward or reverse and had to clean the drive mech twice to get it to work. With only about 4 hours of use the impeller and drive pulleys fell off the engine and had to bring it in to the dealer to be fixed. It works pretty good now but it wasn't an impressive start to my experience. Motown did provide me a new belt and friction puck in case the ones that were dirty originally were contaminated.
