Great Machine!

Although I have not used it we like it. According to CR and other rating companies we should have not issues at all however check back in March of 2017.

Powerful but scuffed in transit

Fired up great trying to familiarize myself how to use before snowfall hits so haven't had a chance to test functionality with snowfall but in Upstate New York that's just a matter of time. Moved forward in low speed much faster than I anticipated so expecting it will plow through a couple feet of snow easily. Box was messed up/wet around pallet, UPS wanted to open as I wouldn't sign without possible damage. Seemed fine upon inspection until I picked up the shute to install, the packaging rubbed the paint off raw in a spot around 4"x2", like a cheese grater went across the plow. Likely Cub Cadet's issue with their packaging as didn't appear to have been opened before delivery. It's bugging me as likely will be the 1st place rust will be starting and wouldn't expect this with a brand new high cost model.

Ronald,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are very sorry to hear about the damage on your snow blower. We will be in contact with you very soon to discuss a resolution.

Shear pins

In the first 2 times I used it ,here in Fargo, ND, I broke 5 shear pins. I contacted Waldo Imp. And was told that this model has a problem with pins and that they are not going to carry this model anymore. Was also told that Cub Cadet knows about this issue also. This info would have been nice to know. My bad for not doing more research ¯(°_o)/¯
